What Is Creating and Managing Claims?

You can create professional, institutional, or dental claims directly through the New Hampshire MMIS Health Enterprise Portal using the Create Claims function of Claims. You can choose to create a claim from scratch, from a template, or from an already submitted and processed claim. If you start to create a claim and realize you do not have complete information, you can save the claim and return to it at a later date to add information. When it is complete, you can submit it for adjudication.

Using the Manage Claims function of claims, you can also edit or delete any saved claim; however, you cannot edit or delete a claim once it is submitted. After you have submitted a claim, you can view it at any time to check its status.
